We’re Going to College!
KIPP SoCal alumni graduate college three times the rate versus their national peers. The success of our alumni is at the root of our KIPP Forward program where counselors guide middle school students as they transition to high school. Our alumni have access to KIPP Forward resources such as college tours, scholarship opportunities, and internships.

In 2023-24, KIPP Forward is a resource to 10,600+ KIPP SoCal students and alumni. Over the next five years, we expect this community to grow by over 5,500 KIPPsters (50% increase).

Your support strengthens the KIPP Forward program to ensure students and alumni continue to receive personalized counseling and resources even as our community grows.

At KIPP SoCal, we have always recognized the pivotal role of a bachelor’s degree as the path to choice-filled lives and a more just world for our KIPPsters. While maintaining a commitment to preparing all students for college, KIPP Forward is also continually expanding its expertise in guiding students on paths towards Associate’s Degrees, Career Technical Education (CTE), and military service.

With a high-quality KIPP SoCal education and support from our KIPP Forward team, our alumni achieve a college graduation rate three times higher than the national average for students from under-resourced communities. They attend various prestigious colleges such as Harvard, Princeton, Duke, Morehouse, Georgetown, MIT, Spelman, Stanford, Columbia, Berkeley, USC, UCLA, and more.
Your Support
Your support enables the KIPP Forward team to arrange college visits for alumni and prepare alumni for their transition to college. Your support also will help prepare alumni for their careers including services such as internship funding and interview prep.
